Citycon is a leading shopping center owner and developer in Finland. The company owns and manages eight shopping centers across Finland.

Challenge

Despite having focused attention on its waste management, Citycon wanted to develop its waste management logistics and monitor the efficiency of individual transports in particular. The aim was to increase visibility, transparency and environmental responsibility.

The SMART remote service was introduced at almost all Citycon locations in Finland after a successful pilot. The service provides real-time data on the waste management status and loads in one clear view.
