SMART devices send automatic emptying requests directly to the waste operator’s system. Alternatively, operators can access the data via Europress’s SMART API.
This ensures that the device is emptied at the optimal time, keeping operations efficient.
With automatic fill-level detection and emptying notifications enabled, the waste operator receives timely information to arrange pickups.
In addition, fill levels can be predicted, and site-specific optimization is possible using a tri-party model, helping achieve the ideal fill level.
One of the main benefits of SMART services is maximizing device uptime. The goal is to keep downtime — for emptying or other reasons — to a minimum.
The more SMART features are used, the more reliably optimal availability can be reached.
Most sites use multiple devices for different waste types. The best recycling results are achieved when each type of waste ends up in the correct bin.
